The Signature Spa is 220sqm comprising of two mirror image signature treatment bungalows with a common staff and preparation area which sit over a body of water. Reclaimed Australian hardwoods, copper and blue stone feature throughout to create an atmosphere of understated luxury.The spa’s exterior displays the adaptability of timber as evident in the exposed roof structure created from sizable reclaimed timber members juxtaposed with the fine detail of the buildings skin – woven screens constructed from form ply and recycled timber battens.
The idea of a journey is imposed, coming through the double bronze entry doors into the interior space filled with metallic mosaics, flowing water, timber screens and stone facades. These elements create an internal atmosphere of beauty that intermingles with the exterior landscape creeping in through the glass doors to the deck where eventually the journey ends, re-emerging into the vibrant Australian bush.
