In 2007 Concept Cosmetic Medicine approached Pouné Design with the opportunity to design their flagship clinic on Victoria Road in Drummoyne.

The brief was to design a contemporary, high-class clinic that was welcoming and elegant – a boutique environment rather than that of a medical centre. The space required a reception and waiting area which would appeal to the passers-by on a busy road, without being intimidating for the clientèle.

The space contains four treatment rooms each with subtle variations to the colour and materials scheme as well as offices and staff rooms. Towards the rear of the building, a private recovery lounge and bathroom are situated with easy egress and access to the car park. The main areas were finished with a pallet of natural stones, timber floors with carpet inserts, timber veneers and colour back glass. Detailing with slim line mirrors along corridors, statements on walls and wall papers add unique touches to the overall scheme.

After a successful year of operation, Pouné Design was invited back to expand the premises to the upper level. A more intimate seductive space was created using a similar pallet, with subtle variations to joinery detailing and the introduction of drapery screens, creating an exciting new experience for their clients.

Over the next year, Pouné Design worked along CCM to expand their business to Bowral and Newcastle. With each of these sites a new distinctive pallet was selected that suited both the demographics, and the buildings within which the clinics would be operating.
